I had a visitor…

Early in the morning while sitting drinking my mug of green mint tea. I happened to look up, and looking back at me was….  Can you guess??  

It was, a little fuzzy  tailed squirrel. He was sitting on our deck fence eating a peanut he had taken from the neighbors’ back yard.

I rose slowly from my chair, set down my tea, and went inside to get my camera. As I was coming out of the house, I noticed he was still there. Moving closer  to the deck fence, I started to click the shutter buttom on my camera.  He sat there, and ate his peanut, while I spoke to him and took his photo. He dropped his peanut, and instead of leaving, he just did a scratch or two, and once my photo taking session was done he left.

It’s the most wonderful thing when nature will trust you enough to spend sometime with you, on a lazy morning. I feel blessed to have had this visitor, and I wish to share my photos with every one that may chance to visit my blog. Enjoy as I did.  

So, keep your eyes open, and you will never know who may visit with you in your yard.
