Nature, and History.

During this week, I am on holidays and enjoying the wonders of this land around us.

On a trip north, nature was all around me, the trees, the sky, the wind blowing softy threw my hair. Talking with those that reside where history is rich, I had the chance to find out about a rail bridge that the Canadain forces guarded during WW2. This rail bridge was a main supple route, and was guarded heavily, so the German forces would not bomb it, and stop the flow of supplies. With my camera clicking, these are a few of the photos I took. “Enjoy”

I felt fear from the height, yet the spellbinding beauty of the veiw let me breathless. :-0 :-)

This rail bridge is located norht of South River, and south of Trout Creek, at Goreville Road, or as the locals call it Snack Shack Road.

The stories of  history attached to this land are many, and if you should chance to pass this way, you may be lucky enough to experiance the tales of this land.

I did enjoy this adventure, and am  waiting for my next adventure to come.  Have you had your adventure yet? :-)
