A Reason To Celebrate.

Today, my oldest grandson turned 18 years young.

“Happy Birhtday, Steven.”

It only seem like yesterday when Steven was born. A tiny bundle of joy, that came into this world screaming, and still is voicing his opinion to this day. I find the reality that, this once little bundle of joy is now  becoming an adult today. I must be getting older, or something like that.

 Children grow up before your eyes and before you know it they will be off on their own life journeys. We try not to miss the events that happen as they grow up.  The time has come for them to learn from the mistakes they make, and bask in the light of their accomplishments. The journey they will take can lead them anywhere, to anyplace they  may choose.  We will always be there to bandage the wounds,  dry the tears of hurt, and be there to feed the hungry.  “Them that is,” because I have many times helped out his mother when needed.

  Parents/grandparents, we are wonderful people who sometimes are over looked when the age of our off spring is very young, but we are there no matter what. In our hearts they will always be our little ones.

So, to my grandson Steven, I must wish you common sense in your decisions,  that you may find the your soul mate, and live in life till the day you part this earth, and I wish you may find happiness in all the ventures . that you may find your dream job, and leave, this world with many offspring to carry on your name.
