Barbeque. :-)

A barbeque seems to be one of the most fabulous events ever. We will gather together to partake of a bounty of delicious food items.

I have not, yet, met, a person in this world that has not found a barbeque to be one of lifes better happenings.  I love the smell of the barbeque cooking, and the aroma of the main course  sizzling it’s way to perfection. The displayed foods prepared by loving hands, waiting for the main course to be  finished.                                     

Chicken looks so very good, when it is hot and juicy and crispy. All the time put into making it just right, can make the best weekend barbequer look like the hero. Burgers, pork chops, sausage, shrimp, steak, and many other items can be cooked on the barbeque.

 The salads, fresh breads, pickels, baked potatoes,devilled eggs, condiments, and of course the deserts prepared by the hands of  various attending guests. Their best recipes prepared with love. 

As we gather around the dinner table, the praises for the delicious foods prepared are given, and  passed around, our families and friends breaking bread together.  The stories told over dinner bring laughter, and good memories made to tell later. To mingle with the friends we have not seen in awhile, and to join with family members, can bring warm thoughts of days past. A barbeque is as good a time as any to bring the ones you love together, and enjoy each others company. So, make a plan to join together to just celebrate summer. For soon, this season will be gone, and nothing but a memory.  The cool air will change our season soon, and summer will be gone.

So, if you have nothing to do for the next few weekends, call some friends, and family members, and plan a barbeque.
