Rambling On And On And On

Well, here it is the weekend again, and work is over for another week.
I get to sit quietly, and bang on the keys of my computer, and reflect on the past week. All I can say about this week is, “I am glad it is over.” I never seem to see much of the sun during the week, and when Friday comes I make the most of the day, and soak up the sun. I miss it’s heat during the week, as I am part of the night working crew. The people who stay up all night, then sleep all day. The moon is the all I get see, but I do like the sun best of all.
In the news this week the election seems to be on hold for a bit. That is what most Canadians were hoping for, at least I know I was.
Our economists say the recession is on it’s way out, “Out where?” Must be some place I have not seen, or been to. The job market is still the same, “SLOW.” The cost of living is up, and wages are still down. “Ya, I would say the recession is almost over.” “Am I the only one who does not see an end to the recession?” “Or am I on another planet?” The weather is getting cooler, and the leaves are changing colour and falling to the ground. “Oh Boy!” Leaf fights, and clean up. But, the flys are still buzzing around my head, and the mosquitos are chasing my husband everytime he goes outside. Summer is slipping away, and we have hardly seen summer this year. With the rain, and cool temperatures, most swimming pools got very little use.
As the clock ticks, the days get shorter. “Where has our summer gone?”
It makes me sad to see our summer season leave, even if it was nasty.
But, what can we do? Just hold on, and go along for the ride. My grandma used to say that all things figure themselves out eventually. But weather, is something we must just go along with.
Thanks for listening to me rant, and I hope you and yours have a wonderful day.
“Have you spent time ranting lately?” :-)
