Health Care. What Happened to it?

“When family stands together.”
Our son has been in the hospital for the past seven days now. He is frustrated, and has just about had enough. The pain he has had for weeks is still there, and we can all understand his frustration. To be in pain day after day, after day, and to be held captive in the hospital, where the food is, “The Worst.” ever. The menu is limited, and very unappealing.
He has had a doctor, who’s name I wish not to mention, as he is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. This doctor has let him be in pain with little medication, and little compassion. The doctor is rough, and insensitive to the pain of his patients.
A new doctor has stepped in and my son is now getting the operation he has needed all along.
Now he will be able to get better and come home to his family, and the stress will go away for all of us.
The new doctor, I will call him a “Hero”, as to all of us he is. With only one look at my son he has found a problem and is going in after it. To him we give great thanks for his kind loving heart, and his smarts, as he would seem the kind of doctor that cares. “His breed is rare now a days.” He seen the problem right away, and acted on it right away. It has been only two times he has seen my son.
You are an angel.
The Kind Angel
There is so much frustration out there for many of us. I have gone through this myself, and as a result of the rotten doctors, I know,I was left with one kidney, and reoccuring bladder infections for the rest of my life. It is a sad day when you can not trust your doctor, and the reports from tests you get.:-(
What ever happened to good health care? :-( Do you have to be rich to get the best care? I thought we were all equal when it came to health care, but I have noticed that that is not true anymore. Now I know why health brokers are busy helping people get good health care over our borders. So, if you have the money, you can do anything, and get the best care.
What about the every day Joe? Is he to be the guinea pig until the right Hero doctor comes along? This may seem harsh but it is the reality we all will have to deal with from time to time. And when we get sick
for goodness sakes have your own doctor. A feat that is hard in different urban areas. In our town it is almost impossible to get a doctor. So, when you are sick, you risk your life in the hands of who knows what kind of doctor. You maybe lucky and end up with the hero.
:-)
Fight for your right to good health care. “Don’t take no for an answer. ”
” THERE ARE HEROES OUT THERE.”
